XTerra* Columns for the Best Peak Shape at all pH levels (1-12)

    The inability to adequately reduce the number of silanols on a silica surface by more than 50%, despite extensive bonding procedures, puts limits on the peak symmetry in your methods. This makes it more difficult for you to work with generic methods particularly for strongly basic compounds. Because hydrid particles are partially organic (they have methlysiloxane units in place of one third of the SiO2 units), they yield bonded phases with increased surface coverage reducing concentrations of residual silanols. As such, Xterra* columns deliver a significant reduction in peak tailing for basic compounds. Now you can develop more reliable generic methods by maximizing peak capacity, and increase the senesitivity of methods by providing the most symmetrical peak shape.
